It’s Round 20 of Betfred League One, with some crucial clashes taking place on Sunday.
Firstly, there’s live action on The Sportsman as Swinton Lions face Rochdale Hornets at Heywood Road in front of the cameras. It’s a tasty tie between 3rd v 4th in the table, with the Hornets searching for a third straight win over the Lions in 2025 in all competitions.
Rochdale claimed the spoils in the reverse league fixture (6-7) and also beat their opponents in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup early rounds (18-16).
Swinton have won their last three home matches against Rochdale, however.

Elsewhere, it’s a big game for North Wales at Colwyn Bay in terms of their title challenge. The league leaders host Goole Vikings and it’s a must-win they are to maintain their place at the top of the table.
Only Workington and Swinton can catch them, which sets up a nail biting final few rounds.
The Crusaders beat Goole convincingly in Round 3 (6-28), but Scott Taylor's Vikings have come on in leaps and bounds since then, so cannot be underestimated by any means.
Midlands Hurricanes will continue their Play-Off push in Round 20 as they sit just one point outside of the top four.
The Canes will welcome Keighley Cougars this weekend and are in desperate need of the two points as they fight it out with Rochdale and Dewsbury Rams for the fourth and final spot.
Their last meeting turned out to be a gripping tale of two halves thriller, where the Hurricanes hung on to win 24-26. Will will see another close match up?
Finally, two teams are the lower end of the table, Newcastle and Whitehaven, meet in the Northeast.
